Colleen and Jimmy are such a cute couple! It was wonderful to get to know them during their engagement portrait sitting at Maclay Gardens recently. They’ll be getting married later in the year and are truly perfect for each other. The gardens are so beautiful- especially this time of year. They are the perfect location for a family or engagement portrait sitting.
Perfect little Piper stopped by the studio with her mom and dad for her newborn portraits recently. I don’t think she thought having her portraits taken instead of taking a nap was the best idea, but she was a trouper and put up with me for long enough to capture some beautiful portraits. Congratulations Emily and Josh- Piper is just lovely!
Amanda is expecting her third (THIRD!!) child in just a few weeks. She makes it look easy. Amanda and Jimmy’s little boys, JW and Charlie, are so awesome, I don’t think three will be enough. They are so smart, and well-behaved, and interesting. During our portrait sitting at the family’s home, JW told me all about the vegetables he’d grown in his garden. I loved it! I’m guessing little Lena Rose (isn’t that a pretty name?) will be very spoiled by her brothers. I can’t wait to meet her!
This is the family’s home? What a beautiful, beautiful place! I love the setting and the pink and brown combination. The little boys really do look sweet!
Savannah Rhea is 9 months old and already changing lives. She has inspired me to try to be more positive. She is such a little ray of sunshine! You can’t help but be happy around her- she is that sweet and smiley and friendly. When I told my kids I was taking a page out of Savannah Rhea’s book, they were all for it. Unfortunately, they are holding me to it. Today, when I slipped and told Jake to get his own water, he told me ,”That wasn’t very Savannah Rhea of you.”
You can tell by her 9 month portraits what a doll she is!
